Privacy notice

What we collect

Sweep collects only what it needs to run audits and improve the product:

• URLs you audit. When you paste a URL and run an audit, we record that URL along with your IP address. This lets us enforce the daily rate limit and monitor for abuse.
• Waitlist information (optional). If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and optionally your price range and intended use case. This is used only to contact you when Sweep Pro launches.
• Screenshots and report data. Sweep takes screenshots of audited pages and stores them on our server to generate your report. Reports are accessible via a shareable link and are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.

We do not use cookies for tracking, run analytics scripts, or collect any personal information beyond the above.

How it's stored

All data is stored in a private database on our server. We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to third parties. Waitlist emails are never used for marketing beyond Sweep-related updates. Screenshots and report data are stored on the same server and are not indexed or publicly listed — they are only accessible via the direct report link.

Third-party services

Sweep uses OpenAI's API to power the visual audit. URLs and page content (text extracted from the audited page) are sent to OpenAI for analysis. OpenAI's data handling is governed by their privacy policy. No other third-party services receive your data.

Requesting deletion

To have your data removed — audit history, report files, or waitlist entry — fill out the contact form and select “Data deletion request” as the subject. We'll remove your records within 7 days.
